Learned to use industrial tools (bandsaw, lathe, drill press, bent sander, disc sander, planer, joiner, and router) and hand tools (different types of rasps, files, hand planers, and gouges).
Learned the different properties and uses of ceramics as well as how to use a potter's wheel, use slip, and the different ways to apply glazes.


Learned how to sculpt plasticine, create a plaster/silica, alginate and silicone molds, pour wax molds, and make Pate de Vere. After firing the glass filled mold I learned how to cold work the glass with a dremel, disk sanders, and belt sanders.
Learned how to cut, solder, color, etch, and texture copper and brass to create pieces of jewelry including pendants, rings, and bracelets.


Learned how to sew different types of seams, zippers, pockets, and a stuffed critter and a mini bag.
